So I haven't had too much time to go one here, because I've been doing this thing called "studying" (emphasis on the "dying" portion of this word). It's so easy to get distracted from schoolwork when I live in such a beautiful place. I did, however, set aside some time to go on more adventures! It was a little rainy and overcast most of the week, but luckily the sun came out yesterday for the Volcom Pipe Pro surf competition. I also got to meet Jamie O'Brien (a professional surfer) last night. It was a good time. Even though meeting a pro surfer was pretty cool, it was even better getting to see one of my teammates open her mission call. I'm so happy for her and so glad that I have the Gospel in my life.
